Wow! It is fall & it is already time for craft shows. What a fun season to show off your wonderful rag rug creations.
I have been in a “fall-sy” mood lately too. I bought some t-shirts at Wal-mart for $1 each! Plain, cotton t-shirts. I bought the largest sizes I could find (3XL and 2XL). Why? The larger sizes have more fabric of course!
These beautiful fall colored t-shirts are sitting in a pile in my laundry room. *Sigh* Perhaps you have projects like this one? You buy something for a craft and then 2 months they sit without actually doing anything with them.
Posting this blog is a good motivational tool. Now, that I have told “the world” (namely you), I better go get something done. Tomorrow, I will put the t-shirts in the wash, and start cutting/balling them into strips. I will be happy to share the progress of my fall colored rugs. (Although, you might see my fall rugs sometime this winter. Can you tell I feel behind before I have started?!)
I would love to hear about your fall fabric crochet projects in the comments. In the meantime, you can check out my books on Crocheting Rag Rugs here:
